Biochemistry Panel
A panel assessing glucose, kidney and liver values together with the lipid profile. It includes items that require fasting.
How the test works
- 1
The referral and your earlier tests are recorded when the appointment is booked.
- 2
Where a biochemistry panel needs preparation, the fasting, medication and clothing rules are shared in writing beforehand.
- 3
The scan or sampling is completed within the planned time, accompanied by a technician.
- 4
A specialist reviews the report; the result is uploaded to the online archive and you are notified.
